Afternoon snooze, shattered.

Savanna Tiger-Heart had been sleeping quietly in an abandoned boxcar when the sound of something exploading nearby startled her awake. The box car she was inhabiting began to sway back and forth alarmingly, so she stood stock still, hoping it would balance itself. It didn't. It tipped over with a thud, knocking her to the side. She felt heard an alarming crack when she hit the wall. Once the world stopped spinning, she attempted to stand. "OUCH!" She immediantly sank back to the ground, grimacing at the pain in her right shoulder. The boxcar was dark, pitch black in fact, as it had fallen with the door to the ground. Savanna looked down at her shoulder, her nightvision working very well in the dard, and saw blood gushing out of a large wound. She slowly lowered her head down and began to lick at the gash, cleaning the dirt and rust out. Every lick felt like the gash was being torn open again. She winced as she stood on her opposite leg. She looked around, trying to find a new way out. With her injured leg she couldn't do any damage to the thick metal sides. The air began to get stuffy, oxygen levels getting low. The only sound Savanna could hear was the rapid beating of her heart. Savanna let out loud roar, hoping someone would be able to hear her. The repercussion of the roar echoed around her. She sighed, and lay down, knowing that she may as well not waste her energy until someone came to help her.

Ushsi was ontop of one of the cars, her favorite one. She had done some 'artwork' on that one and was staring at the larger moon. It was full, but bloody. She heard the explosion before it hit and she jumped off her car and looked at the tracks, one car tipped over. She focused as she heard the tigers roar. A second explosion rattled her bones and she closed her eyes as fire whirled around her. She quickly knelt and covered her form in pure thick ice. The heat did nothing to her ice and as soon as it was done she melted the ice and stood up tall. Her form moved quickly to the fallen car with the soul trapped inside. She ripped one side off the car and slipped in. "Hello my dear" she noted the cut and her leg. "I'm picking you up...okay?" she crawled over before the girl answered and gently grabbed her and carried her out with ease. She jumped on a building as cops showed up and she placed her down. "There..."

Savanna looked at Ushsi with pain and relief. "Thanks, I didn't know what was going to happen to me." She looked back at her still bleeding leg, the buzzing in her brain from the pain becoming more then she could stand. She began to sway, blackness encircling her vision. She shooke her head, trying desperatly to stay concious, but the loss of blood was effecting her. "I..." she slumped forward, her world spiriling away from her. "don't feel so well." the words quietly hissed from her mouth.

Ushsi cute her wrist and put it to the girl's lips. "Drink now!" she then placed her hand on the tiger's leg and closed her eyes, putting forth all engery, healing her quickly then quickly taking her energy back. She felt black for a second her eyes icy now. She sighed, her wrist already healed. "You just sleep...now...alright young one?"

Savanna heard the command from somewhere in the back of her darkening mind. Her toung slowly and methodically began licking the cut on Ushsi's arm. The small hooks covering her toung made a small scraping sound on the skin. She seemed to be traveling down a long tunnel, entering the light. When she opened her heavy eyelids, she saw Ushsi sitting above her, telling her to rest. She obeyed willingly, knowing that even if she didn't want to comply with her leader's orders, she wouldn't be able to stand in her condition anyway. She fell willing, once again, into the darkness.

Dracule sat on the edge of one of the tallest building of the city. He likes the view a lot, the cars rushing by below, trees in the distance and a railroad that ran somewhere on the line between the city and the forest. All of the sudden an explosion was heard as the building started shaking. Dracule stood back up on the building as he cellphone went off. "Great, there goes my day off." He opened his cell phone. "Hello?... Yes ... But its my day off today ... 2 located? What does that have to do with me? ... Search and destroy, great ... Fine, Im on it." He closed his cell again as he took 5 paces back and looked up at the sky. "Sometimes I realy do hate this life." He ran to the edge of the building and jumped off. Right when he jumped off a helicopter came by that took a turn towards the explosion. Dracule hung onto one of the sides as he pulled himself up into the helicopter.

Savanna awoke to the sound of a helicopter, and to another explosion. She snapped her head up, trying to locate the source of the noise. Soon, on the distance, she saw the slowly advancing helicopter. She got up quickly, her newly healed leg stiff. She looked around to locate Ushsi, and tell her of the helicopter, if she did't already know.

Ushsi had been asleep ontop of her normal car, but heard the roaring sound of the helicopter. She opened her grey eyes, which wasnt a good sign to most. She needed her sleep. She rolled off the car, landing on her knees and palms, looking a the sky. She didnt make a noise as she stood, whiping her jeans off and walking over to Savanna. "Get over here..." she whispered and pulled her hand to her face, yawning slightly. No way did she wanna fight now. She was to tired. She sighed. "Get ready to run...and leave. I cant fight now...sleepy." she muttered the last part and sighed once more.

Dracule waited a few more seconds and then jumped from the helicopter. He unsheated his sword and closed his eyes. He fell. After a few second he opened his eyes and landed on his feet on a car about 3 meters away from Ushsi. In the split second he landed, he brought his sword down on the car too, splicing it. He looked up at Ushsi and tought. 'Im sorry it has to end like this.'

Savanna had jumped over towards Ushsi when the man had landed by her. She looked into Ushsi's eyes, asking if her leader wanted her to fight.

Ushsi shook her head at the thought of Savanna dieing today. “No my dear…leave…run now…leave Anu and just keep going.” She leaned down, patted the girls head with a gentle smile. Then shoved her away. She looked back at Dracule. “I guess it ends today…my good friend.” Her face went blank, causing nothing but what others would guess be her feelings. But on the inside she was slightly happy. She finally got a death she needed…after so long. Fighting, attacking, learning, all gone in a single ‘poof.’ She flashed a devilish smile at Dracule and whispered a word calling upon her scythe. The gleaming of her chrome and red trimmed scythe as it appeared from thin air, made the air cool down. Her eyes went black, and she sighed gently. “Give me some honor as I die…if you must.” She looked at him and then down.

Savanna looked sadly at her leader, but turned and ran as she bid. She couldn't bring herself to go too far, however. She stopped once she was just past the first layer of foliage marking the forest. She couldn't leave, not without knowing the fate of her leader. So she stopped, turned, and peered through the thick brush, her telescopic eyes zooming in on the two beings over a half mile away.

Ushsi stabbed her scythe into the ground for a second. Her form was then quickly covered in a thick sheet of ice. She made her transformation longer then normal, knowing this might be the end for her soul. SHe was kind of happy though. Her hair slowly changed first, her teeth becoming sharper as she went. Her eyes went extremely icy and bright now. She at the end of her phasing, low kicked the ice hard enough that it broke, the shattered pieces filling the air. They seemed to glow and she smiled at Dracule. "Now friend...when you wish to come....come" she whispered into the wind.

He watched Savanna run off and turned his head to Ushsi. He didnt like this any more they she did, but orders were orders. And for some reason, these orders didnt feel right. Usualy, his boss (Mana) tell him personally what the mission is, but this time, they were given in a letter. He looked at her in the eyes and smiled softly. "Please dont hold back." He ran at her with his swords draging behind him, slicing the metal of the cars as he twisted his spine to swing his sword at her.

Ushsi bowed her head to him for a second before grabbing her scythe a second before the hit would reach her, blocking it gently. A small stepp back, ice forming where her foot just was. She looked at him, her eyes burning like a winterfreeze. She didnt like this...but if she won she wouldnt enjoy the task of destroying her enemy. She was sure she wouldnt win. As she jumped back, to make her own hit, she swung her scythe gracefully at his left leg as she landed on her knee. Her eyes closed as she kept her instincts let her guide her moves.

Dracule kept looking at her in her eyes, not losing contact for a second. 'Why did it have to be like this? Why cant the army stop fighting them.' His mind was overloading with questions he didnt even know where they came from. As he noticed her scythe swinging at his leg, he planted his sword into the car, pushing himself up on the sword and avoiding the slash with a hair. The proof was the cut in his pants. He used his momentum to pull the sword out and slicing it down at her.

::Isabelle had be out for her daily run and was about a half mile away from the objects she could see in the distance. She watched as a tiger run past her in somewhat of a fear. Thinking something bad must be going on she shifted into her wolf form and ran at her top speed. When she saw the sword going for her friend she went human and her left and right hands shot up. Using her blood bending skills she forced back their wepons. "What the hell are you two doing?" Her voice boomed from somewhere deep within her that she had never felt before. She felt compation, and care. Two things that she hadn't used in a long time. "Can't we all just get along?" She forced them to walk bacwards so they were 7 feet apart. "I just dont understand." Tears began to form inside of her eyes and she could feel them run down her face into her mouth. Salty tear. They remined her of her brother but she knew better then to take her mind off of what she was doing. "No more fighting or i'll rip the blood right out of you both!"::
